By Royal Ascent In July of 2008 the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission became a Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB). It is tasked with providing parents with information, guidance and arrangements for effective maintenance for children who live apart from one or both of their parents.

tmg designed and built two different websites: one for the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission (CMEC) that creates policy and information for the child maintenance system in Great Britain, and a website for Child Maintenance Options (CMO), an impartial body that supports and helps parents to make an informed choice about maintenance arrangement.

Both websites are highly user centred - delivering an accessible, engaging, empathic and empowering experience focused on supporting parents through the decision making process and coming to an agreement about child maintenance options.

The new websites have had a very positive impact, with more parents using the interactive tools and guidance to support their decision making and finalising their arrangements.
