The Caravan Club has over one million loyal members to satisfy, so ensuring that the redevelopment of their website delivers, is no small undertaking. Caravanning is the most popular form of holidaying in the UK and at the heart of its popularity is The Caravan Club.
As part of a three year systems re-engineering programme, the Caravan Club wanted to maximise the potential from enhanced member services delivered through the redevelopment of its website and integration with its new back-end systems.
Our work on this project has been carried out in phases aligned to the main systems programme, with the goal of providing better services online, which would increase membership, e-commerce and site bookings. It also helped to migrate members from other service channels (call centre) to online.
The new website has been immensely successful, with a 114% increase in e-commerce, a 50% + of members joining online & 82% increase in new memberships.
